Easy2Boot for Windows

Easy2Boot is a free and open-source tool that makes it easy to create bootable USB drives. It can be used to create live USBs of Linux distributions and Windows installations. Easy2Boot also supports UEFI booting, making it a versatile tool for creating bootable USB drives.

How to Use Easy2Boot

Assuming you have downloaded and extracted the Easy2Boot files, there are a few ways to use Easy2Boot. The easiest way is to just copy your ISOs (and other files) to the E2B drive – no special formatting of the drive is required, although it must be FAT32/NTFS formatted and have the correct MBR boot code.

If you want to add persistence or use a.imgPTN file, then you need to first format the E2B drive using RMPrepUSB – choose a good size for the boot partition (e.g. 500MB for small ISOs, 1-4GB for large ISOs). If you intend to add lots of large payload files (>4GB), then use NTFS formatting instead so that you can store files >4GB in size.

Once you have prepared the drive, copy your payload files over to it using whichever method you prefer. You can either copy them directly onto the E2B drive or onto a USB Flash drive which is then plugged into the E2B drive – this second method may be easier if you intend to regularly update your payload files as you can just remove+reinsert your USB Flash Drive containing your payloads without having to repartition/reformat your E2B drive each time.

Finally, once everything is copied over, just reboot your computer and choose the payload you want from the menu!
